Classic Structure

What is this structure

This structure pairs the contained filling of a duffle top with a discharge spout at the bottom. The duffle sleeve fills through a fixed filling head with dust kept inside the bag, and the spout empties the product in a controlled flow into the receiving point below. It is the fully contained option — clean at both ends — and suits fine powders that need low dust during loading and controlled, repeatable unloading.

Key Features

  • Duffle sleeve fills through a fixed filling head
  • Contained at both ends — low dust loading and unloading
  • Bottom spout for controlled, repeatable discharge
  • Flow starts and stops by untying and re-tying
  • Size, load, fabric, sleeve, spout and liner customizable
  • The fully contained classic structure

01

The top

The duffle sleeve connects to a fixed filling head, keeping filling contained and dust inside the bag. Once filled, the sleeve ties shut for a clean closed top.

02

The bottom

The discharge spout unties to release the product in a controlled flow into a hopper, screw conveyor or process line, and re-ties to stop it. Repeated, dust-controlled discharge without manual tipping.

03

Suitable Materials

Fine powders that demand clean loading and controlled unloading — chemical powders, cement, flour, food powders and similar. Dust containment matters at both filling and discharge, which this structure addresses at both ends.

Handling Advantages

How it loads, discharges and travels

01

Loading

Filling through the duffle sleeve from a fixed filling head keeps dust inside the bag and the filling area cleaner than an open top.

02

Discharge

The bottom spout ties off for clean, controlled discharge into hoppers and conveyors. Flow starts and stops by untying and re-tying, which suits repeated emptying and reduces residual material and dust.

03

Transport & Storage

A closed duffle top keeps the filled bag tidy in transit, and the spout-centred base still palletises. For very high stacking, a flat bottom stacks slightly squarer, but this structure handles normal palletised transport and storage well.

Material Guide

Materials this structure can carry

Six practical examples selected around the bag opening, discharge method and common African mining, construction, agricultural and industrial supply chains.

Cement Powder handled with a white FIBC in an industrial setting

Cement Powder

The closable duffle sleeve supports flexible filling, while the bottom spout directs cement into a receiving hopper with less uncontrolled release.

Fertilizer Granules handled with a white FIBC in an industrial setting

Fertilizer Granules

Granular fertilizer can be filled through a tolerant wide sleeve and metered from the bottom into blending or field equipment.

Raw Sugar handled with a white FIBC in an industrial setting

Raw Sugar

The tied sleeve encloses raw sugar during transport and the centered outlet supports cleaner transfer into processing bins.

Maize Grain handled with a white FIBC in an industrial setting

Maize Grain

A wide top speeds grain filling and the bottom spout supports repeatable discharge into storage or milling equipment.

Solar Salt Crystals handled with a white FIBC in an industrial setting

Solar Salt Crystals

Coarse salt crystals flow readily through the outlet, while the tied duffle top encloses the load during storage and transport.

Gypsum Powder handled with a white FIBC in an industrial setting

Gypsum Powder

The sleeve accommodates varied filling heads and the bottom outlet gives gypsum processors a defined discharge path.
